On a beautiful summer evening, we paddle towards the island, on the cliffs of which we climb to enjoy a wonderful sunset. The canoe trip happens at a leisurely pace while observing nature. We might hear loon’s gallant greeting or experience swans flying over.
On the island, we have time to admire the landscape painted by the setting sun and enjoy refreshments offered by RetkiSaimaa. If the weather permits a campfire, you can also eat and grill your own snacks. After the refreshments, we paddle back to the shore in the bright early night.
Experience the sunset on the Lake Saimaa while paddling
The duration of the trip is about 2,5–3 hours and the paddling distance is about 5 km in total. The trip is suitable for those who already have some paddling experience. We paddle in single/double kayaks and, if necessary, also in open canoes.

RetkiSaimaa has liability insurance. Swimming skills are mandatory.
Weather-appropriate clothing and a change clothes to be packed in a dry bag. Take some snacks and a drinking bottle with you.
After paddling, it is possible to swim in Konstu beach.

The trip takes place if there are at least five participants.

This trip package can also be reserved for groups for €75/person (Hen/stag parties, birthdays, families, etc.).
Group size is 4–10 persons and the minimum price is €300/order group. Groups of more than 10 people can be arranged, please contact us.
For an additional fee: campfire coffees and Chef Ulla Liukkonen's vengeance breads €20/person.

If the trip is cancelled by the organiser, no fee is charged.
If the participant cancels, the cancellation is free of charge one week (7 days) before the trip. If the participant cancels the excursion 7–3 days before the excursion, half of the fee will be charged. For cancellations made less than 3 days in advance, the full fee will be charged, or the cancelled participant can get another customer in his/her place.
